Materials used consist of wood shell (dark walnut or light oak finish), two skin heads, gut snare, natural rope, leather strap and pull-tabs. Included are 2 sticks.
Tabors are the traditional English drum, ideal for accompanying Morris and other dance displays. Mediaeval drums were made with a rolled and stitched skin and rope tensioned, modern designs use a more practical wooden tension rim.
