아름다운 멜로디'라는 뜻을 지닌 몽고 민속 음악 연주 단체, 에그시그렌은 1991년 울란바트루 콘서바토리 출신으로 구성되어 몽고의 문화를 알리는 문화 대사의 역할을 담당하고 있다.
몽고의 전통 악기를 사용하며 민속 음악을 현대적으로 표현하고 있는데, 특히 깊은 저음인 베이스 멜로디와 높은 하모니 음을 한사람이 동시에 노래하는 몽골리안 '구미 창법'(복음 창법, 후두 창법)의 신비로운 사운드는 경이로움을 느끼게 한다.
몽고의 음악에는 광활한 자연 속 기개와 유목민 전통의 자유로움이 담겨져 있다.
